In 2025, DANS.KIAS will celebrate its 30th anniversary. This milestone is also the occasion for publishing this book. It fills me with joy and pride to have created such a wide range of pieces together with so many different people, each of whom gave the ensemble its own unique color: pieces for the theatre or for unconventional venues, works that travelled the world or were shown exclusively in Vienna. In any case, these are works that move and challenge the audience. They are now brought together in this beautifully designed book by Ardan Hussain.

At the heart of it all is the ongoing effort not to treat the body and its relation to the world in stereotypical ways, but to perceive space and consciousness differently.
